Amateur Sand Sculpting Competition

Participate in our amateur sandcastle contest. Have fun as an individual or participate with a team of family or friends. If you are a casual beachgoer or a talented amateur we have a division for you.

Contest Guidelines:
We will provide the sand and water. You bring everything else. This could be as little as a bucket and shovel or if you want to get more into it we have provided a possible list of tools to bring below
Team category determined by oldest member on team.
Possible List of Tools:
shovels, buckets, straws, brushes, trowels, archaeological tools, etc.

SANDCASTLE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS RULES AND APPLICATION PROCESS

Sandcastle World Championship rules and judging criteria will be posted by June 30th. However, the following are a few pieces of key information to provide a general idea of what to expect at this competition. Sculptors are encouraged to exercise their creative license to craft a sand castle in the theme of a famous person, place, trend or time in history. Sculptors will be provided access to forms, a shovel, tamper, rakes, and sealer spray. Sand sculptures must be 8′ in height. Any inappropriate or nonconforming sculptures will forfeit appearance, food and travel expenses.

All applications to be selected for this competition must be received by the end of the day on June 2nd. Email info@allcommunityevents.com to receive application information. Selections will be made by the end of the day on June 3rd.

EVENT INFORMATION

This event takes place on a beach. One may find it difficult to navigate the beach with a wheelchair. Please note the entire event takes place on sand.
By attending this event, you are entering The Milwaukee Sand Fest at your own risk. There are possible areas uneven surfaces and variable terrain.
Portable toilets available in the event site.
Service dogs only, please no pets.
You will need to have your ticket printed off or pulled up on your phone to present at the admission gate. There will be no on-site ticket sales.
Prices include admission for one adult or child.
Tickers are valid for one use.
Tickets are necessary for anyone 4 and up.
All sales are final and promotions and discounts cannot be added retroactively.
